IACUC announcements (Updated: May 1, 2024)
IACUC Tip of the Month
- All tissues and cells passaged through, or derived in, rodents from outside OHSU and used in live animals must be tested for pathogens to confirm they are free from contamination.
- Pathogen testing results must be attached to the IACUC protocol prior to protocol approval, per IACUC policy. Do not attempt to add these materials to your IACUC protocol before pathogen testing is complete, as it can slow the IACUC approval process.
The IACUC re-reviews all existing policies and Standard Procedures on a triennial basis
During its most recent meetings the IACUC approved updates to the following Policies and Standard Procedures (found in the eIACUC library and in the eIACUC protocol form):
Policies:
Standard procedures (both NHP):
- Bronchoalveolar Lavage (all)
